Current Updates in Feto-Maternal Medicine
It gives us immense pleasure to welcome you to FETOMAT 2025 – Current Updates in Feto-Maternal Medicine, a comprehensive academic initiative dedicated to the advancing frontiers of Fetal and Maternal Medicine. This conference is being hosted by the Department of Maternal and Fetal Medicine in collaboration with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at KIMSHEALTH, Trivandrum. FETOMAT is more than just a Continuing Medical Education (CME) event, it is a convergence of expertise, experience, and innovation. It reflects our focus on the care of both mother and baby, from the early stages of pregnancy to after birth, through a multidisciplinary, evidence-based, and integrative approach. This year’s theme “Bridging Beginnings and Beyond”, emphasizes our commitment to a continuum of care- spanning from preconceptional planning to postpartum recovery and long-term wellbeing. The academic program is carefully curated to provide up-to-date insights into preconceptional care, screening, diagnosis, prenatal therapies, perinatal management, and postnatal follow-up, bringing together diverse perspectives in fetal medicine, high-risk obstetrics and genetics. The sessions will spotlight evolving protocols, grey zones, controversies, and collaborative strategies that define modern perinatal care. We are honoured to host a panel of eminent international and national faculty – leaders and pioneers in the field, who will enrich the program with their vast clinical experience and research insights. FETOMAT promises to be a vibrant platform for learning, networking, and crossdisciplinary exchange, with the shared goal of improving outcomes for both mother and baby. We look forward to your enthusiastic participation and to collectively shaping the future of fetal and maternal medicine.
